Just caught up with this week's two parter. One of the most moving and saddest storylines in the series I've ever seen. If you didn't see it watch it. If you never watch it make an effort for this one. I've also just discovered that the first episode of the two parter provoked a lot of criticism. Thoroughly undeserved.

Love Silent Witness. Best Jan TV. Good story line yes, but I thought the police action was unrealistically heavy-handed at the end of Ep 1 [avoiding spoiler] ... even for the police!

I agree that the scene at the end of the first episode was a weak spot but the rest of the storyline more than made up for it. I thought the disabled actors who played Serena and Kevin were excellent.
