I see too many comparisons between us and Middlesboro to feel comfortable. They were relatively effective defensively but couldn't score enough goals and their points total and goal difference was not too far off ours at this stage of last season.

I think the difference is that we'd quite like to score some goals if possible and are at least trying to get in the opponents' penalty area, whereas Boro, certainly under Karanka, showed no interest in that whatsoever.

6 teams will need to out perform us for us to go down. That is all there is to it at this point.

We've been on or above 1ppg all season so far, that is staying up consistency.

We are a better team than Boro were last year. They were overly pragmatic and far too cautious - as they had been when they went up.
