Good read, one bit you missed was the apparent infighting. Gary Dicker had spats with at least 2 other players (Dickinson & Forster that I saw) , indeed, volleys of abuse were distributed that were clearly audible by those of us in the front row of F block.

When you start arguing amongst yourself, it becomes a very slippery slope.

I noticed that but as I am aware quite a few players tune in I thought it may be a bridge too far

So you are not a true journalist then ! Whoever heard of a journo holding back for fear of upsetting someone?. Just think, your headline could have been ...

"Forster Tells Dicker to F##k off"

or

"Dickinson & Dicker in Spat"

No?

Ok, I'll get my coat

That's Mr Naylor or Mr Talbot's bag . If indeed it is necessary at all.

Not bad.
It's worrying that the most passionate players are the less likely to be around for much longer, and I'd also note that most have played under the management of Dean Wilkins. The others are 'just playing for Brighton', and few of those are likely to stick around.

What we *might* still have among the first teamers and reserves, is the makings of a reasonable 4th Division (aka League 2) side.
That's quite telling.
