It could turn out to be a pretty potent game!?

Matt Richards out to prove a point in the centre of midfield against us, our players seeking revenge for the 1 nil defeat to a 9 man Walsall side last year. Add the fact that Slade will want to show he means business this season and I’m certain there will be a lot of drama in this game.

I’m predicting a 3-2 win for the Albion with quite a number of talking points come 5 o’clock (hopefully no red cards)!

Just me?

How many of the starting 11 were part of that debacle?

They absolutley destroyed us at their place. Was our worst performance of the season (beating the shit house performances away at Carlisle and at home to Walsall)

They got six points from us last year, so that must be enough motivation to go after them, especially the embarrassment of the Withdean game.

I think we will win 3-1. Murray, Dickinson and Thornhill

Can’t really comment on the away fixture as I only heard it on the radio but I felt we did enough to comfortably win the home tie we must have had dozens of decent crosses into their box and if I remember Cox missed a header from about 6 yards!
Unrelated subject but I’ve got a feeling that after a pretty decent pre season Cox is going to be epic this year!

Can't see us scoring anymore than 2, so i'll go for 2-1, with us going in behind 1-0 at HT. Forster to come on and bag a brace.

3-0 win, Dickinson starts to become a clut hero, cox shows us what he's capable of, Kupiers back on form, our defence solidified, and we are not a laughing stock.

I can see us absolutely taking them apart, Slade will want some kind of revenge after the 3-0 battering at their place, and our players are going to want to play well to start the season. Alot of them need to play well to keep their places in the side, so I can seriously see us battering them. I'll have a cheeky couple of quid on a 5-0.

I'll have enough of a problem trying to work out who on earth is playing FOR US!!!!!

I mean how many of this lot are likely to play???? at least 7 won't

We haven't got a clueless twat in charge this season so we must have a reasonable chance of winning the tactical battle and maybe the game

It was after this early season home game last season that I stated on here I'd like to see Adams sacked and was soon to be called a window licker....f***ing debacle

It was repetitive, unimaginative and easy to read for the Walsall team. Not forgetting to mention that their two centre backs are very strong in the air. A real indicator that Adams was clueless with absolutely no plan B. I did feel sorry for Richards. He was getting personal abuse when he was doing nothing but following a (cack) set of orders.

They throughly deserved their win. I even went as far as applauding the Walsall team as most collapsed on the turf, at final whistle, through utter exhaustion. It would have been rough justice if we sneaked a point from it.
