Madness.

THE bet is the standard double - quite possibly for the last time.

Get tonight out of the way, hope to be 12 (only 6  ) points clear of Huddersfield, then crush them with the win double tomorrow.
Thereby moving the gap to 12 (9) points with 6 to play.

From then on feel free to pad out the bet, just not before.

THESE ARE YOUR RULES.

I did the chasing three, and succeeded in downing Leeds. I shall now add to my growing losses, on tonight's standard double.

The odds make this bet seem a bit pointless.
I have been doing the double for a few weeks now.
Being one of the world's unluckiest gamblers, I am yet to collect any money.

The only reason the Albion are 12 points clear of 'Field and now top of the table is because of ME, and my inability to 'beat the bookie'.

Should I take your advise and excuse myself from this pointless bet?

The odds make it pointless? THE ODDS?

Surely sir, you jest? This is not about the odds.

Haha fair enough, forgot myself. Go on then. I am on. Large.

I knew you had it in you. All you betting heroes shall have songs written for you. Shocking songs, but songs nonetheless.

I'm afraid I do not partake, because I'm a seriously flukey ******* and don't want to risk ruining it all.

Are we now done with this, or using it to control the exact date of promotion?

It's just I've got a couple of cyclist tomorrow (Roubaix) and Vicente in the National worthy of actual bets.

Bit undecided.

Do I stick with the PROVEN Hudds / Newcastle win double?

or ignore the Toon, and go for a chasing pack treble, of Hudds / Dirty Leeds / Reading?

Like you I am sticking with the "can't lose" win double.

You either win money or bring forward the party by one match.

Incidentally, if you are interested in free money, SkyBet are offering odds on the Albion getting promotion, at a very generous 1/100

Back on. £5 Hudds / Newcastle win double (doesn't) return £27.

Nope you're on your own this weekend.

I have given my money to Skybet via the National and Roubaix.

I should qualify the above by saying that if Udders had won, I would have won £1500 on a different bet instead of the £100 shown above:
