What a f***ing joke these fans are, it makes my blood boil honestly...

That would happen to us too if we were to get promoted...

The posts by Ibrahim and Nail-Z-Gull are a real rareity on this forum, actual thought out opinions relating to MK!

MK are a completely different club to everyone else because they are so young, so obviously the fans are new to the club and it will take time for them to establish themselves. But to post a thread from their forum and start a topic on here with the headline, "this just goes to prove how fake MK Dons are!!", is just pathetic in my opinion and says alot more about the person who posted the thread than it does about MK. I'm sure we all started out like that MK fan, I know I did back when I was a nipper.

Who is our best player, dad? I remember asking that question, I remember wondering every insignificant detail about the club, just because I was 9 at the time and not a grown person like the guy being referred to in this thread, doesn't make any difference in my opinion. Until you start supporting a club, you don't know things like that, and asking is not a crime and doesn't mean they're fake fans.

Precisely, and it needs to if we are ever to get anywhere near filling Falmer...five years ago we took 30k to Cardiff, where did they all come from and where have they gone...we need to attract new fans to the club, they will be the ones who have little knowledge of our history or even the troubled times we have gone through...the sad fact is that many of those who once filled the Goldstone are no longer with us, they will not get to see the team run out at Falmer, but new fans can take their place.

It is pretty much a weekly occurence that someone posts happy news of the arrival of a new seagull, hopefully they will be introduced to the beautiful game at an appropriate time...much in the way that the kids of Milton Keynes are...they will care little for the past history of the club but they are its future.

Why's it funny? People have different levels of dedication to football clubs & football in general. I bet you a significant amount of our fans at Millenium stadium on that day couldn't tell you whether Chris Iwelumo was the big one or the little one, but those people came and supported the club and that's what matters.

I doubt many (or any?) of their fans were Wimbledon fans anyway, so were did they all come from? I would guess a majority are local people and there is NOTHING with wrong with supporting your local club. Others may have never supported a club at all, or only have limited interest in the sport and I think it is better for football for them to support a league team rather than a Premiership team.

Of course what happened with Wimbledon was a travesty, but with AFC Wimbledon rising up the leagues it really is all now just history - and whichever club you support and your reasons and levels of dedication doesn't make you any worse than any other football fan.

There are a lot of muppets on here who dredge up the same old threads. It's like they are in their 40s and still bear a grudge against the kid that sat next to them on their first day at Infants school because they got their bottle of milk first!!! They need to get a life.

Well said.

The amount we took to the Millenium is proof of the fickleness of supporters. They can't all be season ticket holders but bless them when they do turn out as the Millenium would have been dire if there had only been 7000 there for us (and that's coming from someone who couldn't make it that day!).

Still, I suppose these threads keep the muppets entertained during the close season.

Fair point drew, the bloke sat next to me at the play-off final shouted out "come on Reading"...then apologised for his error!

They are a completely different club to everyone else because they stole the league place of another.

so obviously the fans are new to the club and it will take time for them to establish themselves.

"Establish themselves", what an ironic statement. Shame they didn't establish themselves in the way most football clubs do. Like working their way up the league and passing support down through the family.

But to post a thread from their forum and start a topic on here with the headline, "this just goes to prove how fake MK Dons are!!", is just pathetic in my opinion and says alot more about the person who posted the thread than it does about MK.

Really ? It says everything about Milton Keynes. Fake football fans supporting a fake club.

I'm sure we all started out like that MK fan, I know I did back when I was a nipper.

What did someone say "Hey Ninja, there's a GREAT new football franchise just started down town. What say we grab a couple of cokes and take in a game.. no of course they didn't.

Who is our best player, dad?

Wonder what the reply would be in Milton Keynes ? f*** knows son, when I was a lad all this was fields. There was this club in South London though...

And the best part is, they actually think Luton hate them because they are pinching their supporters lol.

Well, it's true, mr "LOL" two old gents who "used to go to Luton" showed us the way to the stadium when we played them. This is why I hate them.

Pathetic club, pathetic fans. They completely sum up the place as well.

The football supporters federation should never have backed down and let their "supporters" back in.

I don't understand how someone who supports a club like Brighton can be ok with MK. They epitimise every thing that's wrong with football.

I'm all for every one having their own opinion especially when it comes to football, but I really can't understand counter arguments against MK being scum.

The fact that they're called the MK 'Dons' brings further annoyance!

Spot on. My issue with MK Dons is in the manner the club arrived in football in the first place. I hate everything they stand for.

Ok, so you don't agree with what I said. No need to get narky. The point I was trying to make is that, as much as we all dislike Mk Dons and what they stand for, Is that the situation wont change. No point dwelling on something that happened 7 years ago, they are not gonna go back to being Wimbledon FC. I find It quite baffaling, the over-reaction this thread subject has recived, and I think its a Little sad that people on a Brighton message board are getting worked up about a discussion that took place on another clubs forum.

I agree with what IT said aswell.

Any need for the Insult?

Any need for the Insult?

Much easier than having to put together an argument can be the only reason.

I don't have any really strong feelings about MK Dons. Wimbledon were never going to get a ground close to home anyway which mitigates what's happened to a degree, even if it's not a great solution. It's unlikely to happen to any other clubs imo.
