I would happily pay the licence fee to be able to watch the iPlayer abroad without having to faff around with a VPN!
I’m sure there is a way they could set it up and reading posts on ex-pat groups, I’m sure there are a lot of people who would buy into it.

I would definitely pay to access BBC content over here.

The BBC will always get slated until it is making money for the already rich.

Spring watch alone is worth the fee in my eyes.

This. Certain people won’t rest until it’s commercialised and if they have to stir up the right wing to trash the BBC, they will do so.
Stirring up the , shall we say more suggestible sectors of society has historically been a tactic used to try and shut down free speech.

Has some cock I have on ignore started a thread of old bollocks?

Who would have known? ???

Need to run a tally on everytime this bore arrives in a thread to declare he's got someone on ignore.

The Aboriginals out here have a Pidgin language though it's called Australian Kriol now.

PNG is well known here for its Pidgin language as well.

I think it is more telling who says it won't?

What do you think? (Or whatever the approximation is that you do).

It's not, no one forces you to have a television.

It's a bit like saying that vehicle excise duty is a forced tax, but you don't have to have a car.

It's your choice at the end of the day.

And it’s incredibly good value. We rarely watch the BBC live unless it’s sport or a drama but watch a lot on iPlayer. Over our lives we have listened to a lot of BBC radio even if these days it’s mainly Spotify and Alexa. The BBC is a part of our culture and we should be very reluctant to let such institutions be diminished. I am happy to support it.

I do enjoy when someone highlights one programme or aspect of the BBC they dislike. It would work out at some fraction of a penny in your licence fee when you work it out.

sadly, the OP sounds like the kind of munge that doesn't pay their license!

If you want to get worked up sighting the BBC I suggest you start at that Bing rabbit on CBeebies. He's a well annoying, whiny little *******
