When I first started posting on this board (Perry Milkins/Tribune Messala) there used to be a flare-up over a difference of opinion now and again. Sometimes they would fizzle on for an age but equally the spat would subside in the blink of an eye.

If my memory serves me right London Irish was involved in a good proportion of these heated exchanges but sadly he is no longer a poster. I also recall that there were regular meet-ups mostly post season and much bonhomie was to be had. I did not attend any major ‘banzies’ in Brighton but met up in London with fellow fans and posters and a good time was had.

These days there seems to be an undercurrent of ill-feeling on the board and an increased proportion of postings which seek to insult or undermine a thread regardless of topic. Why is this?

It leads me to wonder whether a suggested social for a beer would inevitably lead to ungly confrontations ad fisticuffs. Sad really.

London Irish was a spiteful bully, and when someone stood up to him (Bozza), he threw his toys out of the pram and flounced elsewhere.

We're in a recession and the Albion are currently shit, surely a recipe for grumpiness on NSC.

I've met MK Seagull and Lucky Boy Farang in the flesh, and on this board we are at odds on a number of things, but down the pub everyone gets on courteously and talks about tits and football................as it should be.

Are you sure Pressie. I see so much spite and insults that I would be ready to duck if it kicked off. Maybe peeps wouldn't say what they type but, to me. there seems some deep seated ill feeling.

You're not wrong mate.

this place seems to have had an infux over the last year or so of complete f***ing (unts and unfortunately a lot of the "more rounded" posters (no fatties) have dispersed.

Shame really.

I used to come on here all day every day - now its just a pop in to check if theres anything half decent (which normals there isn't)

maybe it'll go full circle soon - especially with the rate of bans currently being dished out!!!! :)

Time for a good old barnie. NSC is too Bloddy PC. Think i'll go and support C Palarse, vote BNP go for a night out Gay bashing and have a go at those cheap little scrubbers who flaunt themselves. On the other hand I better stick to Albion matters and keep my head down so not to upset those lilly livered panzies. UP THE ALBION, KEEP THE FILTH.

theres quite a few posters who i would happily punch in the fuckin head to be honest.
