i just wish that everyone could agree on the same musical tastes and generally get on with one another. It would make the world a nice place to live in. It is a well known fact that nearly 97% of the modern wars have been started by musical disagreements.

That said. I think most people agree that Queen are f***ing shite, as are Deaf Leppards.

Im tending to agree with the stinking one here. If we could all just like the same type of music it would make things much easier especially when shopping for long playing records. Rather than having different sections for pop and rock etc, it could just be an A-Z of music that was good and that everybody, young and old, likes.

Having said that The Def Leppard are still shit and anyone that thinks that pour some sugar on me is anything but absolute shite is a berk! And their singer didnt even sound stoned!

Most overrated song for me HAS to be 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' by Joy Division. Irritating repetative riff and a totally morose, semi-stoned lead singer droning his way through it. CACK of the highest order.

Bollocks.

A great song and possibly one of the most influential on a range of genres for a long time.

   Amen to that, can't see why people thing the Smiths are so great either, they rival Echo and the Bunnymen and The Cure as the dullest bands ever.

I have never, luckily for them, heard anyone rate, overly or otherwise, pour some sugar on me by def leppard and if did I would be pouring some petrol on them.

Sub, soft metal wank! God cuts off the drummers arm, strikes down the guitarist curses them all with crap hair, shit dress sense and even worse musical taste and still they dont get the message. Piss off!

Def Leppard are one of the greatest british bands ever. FACT.

Highly rated by musos but a complete dirge from start to finish - ladies and gentlemen, I give you "Waterloo Sunset" by the Kinks.

pah, drivel. Romance is dead in the lush house if you can diss Waterloo Sunset.
Springsteen dreams of writing a working class poem half as good as that.

Anyway, what have A-Ha ever donated to the annuls of pop genius? "taaayk ooon meeeeee (take-on-me) taaaake meeeee oooonn (take on me) I'll beeeeee gooone in a day or sqwwweeeellll"

yer RIGHT !!

Agree with 1, 4, 7 & 11!

Also anything by a band that starts with "The".

Any dance track that samples or remixes an older track!

Personally, I think "Imagine" is one of the all time greats. My choice for one of the worst ever songs is that dirge by George Michael - "Careless Whisper." There are some songs I dislike but can understand others liking, but not that one - same for most of George Michael's other dreary, monotonous songs.
