Anderson to roll off of his poorly bed to hit the winning run one handed.

I know I shouldn't be but after the debacle at lords I'm even worried about us chasing 120

We will be 40/3 as usual (with Lyth and Bell undoubtedly failing), but will rally and will win comfortably enough in the end by FIVE wickets.
can you PLEASE stop tempting fate !!

Lunch, Day THREE.

England 4-0 (2 overs), requiring just 117 more runs to win.

What an entertaining test match this is! :)

How many did Curlty Ambrose bowl is out for that time? I know that we were chasing 144 and didn't even make 100.

Looks like this pitch has really flattened out. If we lose, it could be the worst Ashes defeat ever, however, Albion are more likely to sign a player today than Australia win!

Win by 10 wickets. Survive Johnson's first spell and it is all over, Clarke and the aussie bowlers chase wickets so the runs will come quickly.

Win by 8 wickets: Lyth caught in the cordon again and Cook out to Lyon with just a few runs needed.

Bell to hit the winning run on his home ground

lyth and cook are just nightwatchmen to me right now.

if they can get the total together i will forgive them a lot, but if both are batting in the next ten overs i will be amazed.

Clarke what are you doing? England will be halfway there before Johnson even gets a bowl at this rate. Terrible captaincy, Johnson is the man all of the English batsmen fear, yet he is grazing out at long leg.
