Being a supporter of a club that is always the underdog. Makes nights like last night even sweeter. I can't imagine it would be the same being a Man U or Chelsea fan.

To be honest that said it all about being a Brighton fan.

In the hundreds of years I have been supporting the lads, I can name only a few occasions like that..

Winning at Anfield 1983
Winning at Highbury FACup semi
Garry Stevens last minute cup final goal
Wilkins free kick against Ipswich
Play off Semi against Millwall
Play off semi vs Swindon
Play off win at the Millenium
last night

Last night was up there with the best.......The support was terrific, the game played in the right spirit ( City were sublime at times in their passing) and we matched them at certain times ( 1st half of extra time)

Great stuff

Every big team has an off day, and that's usually forgotten when they go back to winning the next match.

Every 'small' team has a good day....but these are remembered and revered.

I feel very pleased for those youngsters who support Albion and have to put up with the taunts of the plastic prem fans. Those other kids will never know the true high of supporting your very own team on a night like last night.

Sheer magic!
