You say that like anyone can afford it anymore.

Looked at going to see Dune 2 and it would have been £17 just for a single ticket.
I saw it last week at Cineworld in Crawley. Monday - Wednesday tickets are £6.

I stumped up an extra £4/ticket to see it on the IMAX screen because I am a FANCY DAN.

Dogs being fed leftovers as their main diet and being let out to wander around.

Being told off / smacked by other people’s parents or the neighbours.

Being threatened with the wooden spoon.

Being sent to bed without dinner.

Having the old black and white telly brought up to your bedroom when you were sick.

Being wormed with a revolting pink “milkshake”. What the funk was that all about? Wormed! 😂

Getting C90 blanks as stocking fillers.

Fixing a bit of water pipe to a block of wood, hammer the fixed end flat, drop in a lit banger then a handful of dried peas...then aim at the neighbour's window. Anyone...no 🤔
Not quite that one, but similarly:

Jumping jacks worked great if you could let them off in a group of people.
Roman candles worked best (like many fireworks that said 'Do not hold in the hand') by holding them in said hand, lighting them and pointing them at people.
Rockets worked rather more erratically by putting them in a milk bottle placed at a strategic angle.

The main safety warning in all these cases was that involuntary receivers of such dastardly acts should be smaller than us perpetrators.

WH Smith were good for that except when, like me, you get caught in my case for trying to nick a balloon of all things.

The cheapest fags as we called them after taking up smoking aged 7 (first one a sophisticated Olivier) were Park Drive, Anchor and Woodbine Tipped at 1s 3d for 10 or Dominos at 4 for sixpence.

Has nobody mentioned collecting autographs? Sussex County Cricket Ground was a good place for this and discovering who was nice to autograph hunters (Ray Illingworth immediately springs to mind) and who wasn't (as one of many to receive snooty Ted Dexter's immortal words: 'f*** off.' John Arlott was similarly dismissive.
Yes, I wish I'd kept my book. Loads of autographs. Most were happy to sign. One England cricketer made me carry his coffin to his car before he signed. Cheeky sod.

Pocket money, all six pence of it, being withdrawn for the most minor of misdemeanors.

Getting smacked by a headteacher for whacking a bully.

Made to stand in a corner looking at the wall.

Having to endure Saturday evening TV on one of just three channels … with ‘creative’ offerings The Black & White Minstrel Show, The Cilla Show, The Lulu Show, The Petula Clark Show.

Sheets of school loo paper made by a sadist.

Itchy acrylic and nylon kids clothing.

…. aye and we were grateful for it :lolol: .

Watch showjumping. I wasn’t that into it but you couldn’t really avoid it on telly. And then suddenly it disappeared.
