Having to watch whatever depressing crap your parents were watching on telly.

Shops being closed on Sunday and on Wednesday afternoons. A good thing that should be brought back.

Going and picking up the take-away rather than commanding an asian teenager on an unlicensed moped to bring it to your door.

Comic subscriptions

Only having McDonalds on birthdays rather than every day after school.

Bullying that didn’t leave kids a mental wreck for the rest of their lives.

Reading the previous posts on this thread a lot of familiar activities.
The main difference with my generation compared to millennial is that we were outdoors all of the time
millennials are mostly well into their/our 30's now. We were outside a lot as kids

definitely this. I had absolutely no say in what was on TV or listened to on the radio. What it did mean is that I picked up a lot of the cultural references shared by my parents- one area being that I like a lot of the same music as both of my parents
