It isn't the taking part that counts, it's the winning.

Sanchez definitely looked good today

If we can’t score goals this will be a tough and long season. I don’t rate welbeck at all he was dreadful today for the second consecutive game....he is not the answer up front that’s for certain.

1. If you are going to play two players deep behind the striker, don't also play long balls.
2. We are not very good.
3 Stop ****ing about with the team selections and let them get used to each other.
4. The 'fence' is looking quite enticing.

1) We haven't lost to anyone below us yet
2) We haven't beaten anyone below us yet
3) We were slightly better than Fulham
4) Sanchez is more reassuring and kicks like a mule. Rather a big boomer than Ryan's little chips out to our flanks or straight ouit of play.
5) Back three looked ok but Webster has one critical error per game in his locker ( Sanchez bailed him out last night )
6) Our only hope is to keep Lamptey, Bissouma and Lallana fit.
7) Welbeck will get the odd very good goal but in between will miss plenty of chances.
8)Trossard is a luxury we can't afford.
9) Ali J is not the answer.
10) Potter realises we are in the manure and is prepared to grind out ugly points. Hooray.
( Don't bet on us beating Sheff Utd )

Sanchez had a great game and deserves a run
White, Dunk and Webster were impressive at the back at last and threatening at last on corners
All our upfront players are off form, except Lallana
We are in the shit and in for a long relegation dogfight
Alzate needs a run to grow and work effectively with Sir Biss

Frankly on that form we're in deep shit. Expect Burnley to start picking up points, which leaves two from us, Fulham and BFS's West Brom for the drop. No real progress since GP arrived.

Defensively and GK wise a vast improvement, and hopefully a confidence builder.

DO NOT CHANGE!

Alzate and Trossard not up to it at the moment, chasing shadows, although it was a really tight scrappy midfield.

Propper and/or Gross would have been better, both have the guile to pick a pass and create some space.

Welbeck seems to have put special BHA shooting boots on. how he managed to avoid that cross completely is beyond me.

AJ should have started.

We are in a bonafide relegation battle already.

Went to see Wonder Woman 1984 last night (which was dreadful) - should have stayed in to watch the nil-nil that was probably more exciting.

Come off it.

He could have won us the game three times over. He may have played well defensively but his shooting has completely deserted him, he is nowhere near his best in that respect and has missed plenty of easy chances this season.

When he starts nodding in two or three a season, I’ll agree with you.

17 goal attempts and 0 goals this season... hopefully we'll see the Ketchup effect once the first comes.

That our defenders still can’t head a ball into the goal , need to watch Saints 6 foot 7 bloke who scored against us.
Can’t remember the last one , Duffy missed every one too.

Pleased with Sanchez, did well. Couple of good stops, big double save. Be very interested to see how he uses that big frame when crosses come in, can he dominate in the way Ryan never could
