are extremely frustrating. 4 games played and 2 goals conceded in stoppage time !!!!

Having said that, it's a good result but Gus, get this team playing the full 95 mins.....not just 90 !!

Onwards and upwards.

Why did the ref score !!! I'm just making point that these late goals are frustrating and generally costly. Luckily not today though.

I thought we were heading for a comfortable clean sheet until the ref intervened.

I think that we conceded quite a few late goals early last season as well as the one before. So three different managers, totally different players and we're still doing it. Can't really see a link and todays was an assist by the ref so probably shouldn't count.

Were you at todays game? We were playing the ball around fine, and the ref got in the way. Not our fault WHATsoever.

can't completly blame the ref, kish should not have tried to pass through him, and when they got the ball, we should of done a better job of defending it. Great finish by the lad though

They wouldnt have got the ball if it hadn't been for the ref.....

And to be fair to the lad that scored, it was a good finish

The ref was abysmal today. How he got in the way in the run-up to their goal I will never know, there was no one near him.

He was not abysmal, made a couple of puzzling decisions here and there like every ref (and every player) does every game. I didn't even look at the programme to see his name until the 93rd minute, whereas with most of the ones we've had recently you know exactly who they are by half time.

The Walsall goal was essentially down to him giving them the ball, as he made no effort whatsoever to get his arse out of the way of it, whereas without his intervention it would have gone to Dicker or Painter (I forget who) in acres of space and you couldn't see us giving it away again. So yes, he arsed up there.

But the rest of the game was no different to any other match, with little controversy- at least from our point of view anyway. Walsall may differ when it comes to that red card of course.

Were you actually there?

No I was not today. I don't need to be there either to make the point about conceding late goals. I don't care if the ref was involved in any way or not.

The point I'm making is the number of late goals we concede. i.e 50% of our league games this season.

Seriously, you do have a point we do need to cut down on late goals conceded - especially from last year - but today was totally not our fault.

Don't dig

The ref was truly abysmal, blew up when one player brushed against another, totally over the top. Every single corner or ball into the box he saw some infringement as play broke down. Loved the sound of his own whistle. Fuckwit.

We were sloppy for the goal though, can't completely blame the ref.
