We interviewed Dick Knight today for the book. 6 hours in Topolinos fuelled by caffeine and pasta. Having never had the pleasure of his company before, it was a fascinating afternoon. What an absolute gent and Albion legend that man is. Witty, self effacing, indiscreet without being bitchy and above all passionate, great stories about the Albion and advertising. Genuinely loves football and of course Brighton. We must never forget what he has done for our club. And we owe alot to Liam Brady who persuaded him in the first place.

I ran into the great man (almost literally) on the pitch after the shootout against Swindon, and with the emotion, just managed to blurt out "I love you Dick". I meant it, too.
I'm really quite sure that no fan will ever forget what he did for us - the man will always be an Albion legend.

Knight and Brady are definitely two people I would like to see milking the applause at the first game. (I would like to, but I am at a f***ing wedding).
I've only seen him out a few times in public. The only time I got to speak to him was at REMF 7 (?). Lovely chap.
