A lot of people not panic buying just, coincidentally, driving around on fumes today and needing to fill up.

Not only did I fill up my car this morning but also bought a load of Toilet Rolls. You can't be too careful these days...

I have just cycled past the petrol stations at Pyecombe, the one at the A23/27 roundabout , and Patcham all have massive queues, the muppets at the roundabout have blocked it so no one can get out of Brighton, cauing a tail back past Patcham Village, there appeared to be some fisticuffs about to start as I went by as someone was running towards a car shouting all sorts.

What are the chances many of the ,people panicking for no reason and causing agro are the same as those who were literally fighting over toilet roles 18 months ago, and also telling refugees to "go back where they came from" as they equate Afghanistan, and other places with a slight issue with a few tanker drivers here

Sometimes, I think a lot of the public are total idiots!

Come now, anyone like you or me who has ever worked in retail knows the words "Sometimes, I think" are utterly redundant in there.

Hang on - is there a shortage of liquorice-based confectionary? That WOULD be a time to panic.

Because I'm not stupid, I refused to panic buy toilet roll, pasta and flour during the pandemic. Unfortunately I was then unable to buy toilet roll, pasta and flour when the shelves were empty. Might pop to the petrol station later...

Just shows the power of the media in how they can tell us to panic through headlines such as "Don't Panic, everything will be OK!" so then we have a nation panicking to the bone causing mayhem everywhere.

I wonder if the media have ever been capable of stirring up nationwide stress like this before?

I feel your pain, I’ve got 6 vans that deliver to the motor trade here. Double whammy can’t get to customers and can’t get fuel today….

Absolute wankers! Some of us need vehicles to work, I bet most of these people work from home or don't work at all!

I queued up this morning and filled up even though I work from home. Why?

1) I was nearly on empty and
2) I am undergoing chemo and have several medical appointments each fortnight that I have to drive to.

Want to swap places?????

Don't always assume that you have the greater need.

Similar happened to us, resorted to buying recycled bog roll at the beginning of the pandemic :nono:

Absolute mug sheep. Sun front page and they're falling over themselves licking the windows whilst queuing up convincing themselves they're the ones who are clever.

There is no fuel shortage, there are logistics delays. Irresponsible from the retard media.

The government really should have stepped in early with this.

Now there are going to be people unable to get to work because of this.

Hopefully tomorrow it will be back to normal... but something tells me not, having spotted a fool filling up a jerry can.

Oi, I resemble that remark!

I often fill up jerry cans, pre mix with 2 stroke oil them fill up my scooters, otherwise I have to go to the fuel station almost every day when riding to work. . I can just get 3 journeys on one tank. . . .
