Don't work in my experience - the Rat Zapper (electronic box gives Mr Rat a few thousand volts up his jacksie) is what you want......

There is now one less rat in the world - just got a text from my brother in France on a fishing trip and he says the only thing he's caught so far was a rat which swam out and ate his floating bait during the night.

back on subject B&Q do a live animal catcher trap for about a tenner, it catches them alive, and you can get rid of them in the back garden, or whatever, the "humane way" . Its bloody good.
Then all you got to do is fill the hole, so the blighters dont come back.

That would get my vote, as it also gets rid of any teenagers loitering in your kitchen.

And you could then rent it to vulture to use on his hamster.

Those ultrasonic things don't work. We got a mouse infestation in a house a few years back and bought about 5 of those things.

It must be a bit like humans listening to Chris Moyles should mean no-one listens to radio one. All logic suggests that the voice of that fat boring northern twat should make you turn off the radio, but for some reason there are people who strangely actually choose to listen to him.

rat poison does the trick and is easy to buy in hardware stores etc.

was it definitely a rat? or could it have been an exagerrated mouse?
