I don't think you should take ofFence.

I hope you don't have Barclays, they are f***ing USELESS.

I had an Austrian hotel overcharge, but since I'd got back to the UK they had me file a 'dispute' rather than simply stop the charge going through. 2 months later I got a letter saying I should take it up with the vender.

BARCLAYS = wankers, hopeless useless wankers

Did you pay by credit card or debit card? If credit card then it should be the bank that carry the liability not you so report the incident to the bank, pursued all options and then it will be the banks lose not yours so the bank should reimburse your account, however it might not be that straightforward.

If its debit card then it basically between you and the company.

If all else fails torch the fucker!

Would be very difficult to prove a theft, as opposed to a human error.

Complain to the company, demand your refund, including suitable compensation for any other losses you have suffered as a result, ie declined payments, interest, overdraft fees and so on.

that , probably a mistake , you would have to be some sort of GOON to attempt a theft in that manner.

What ever, it is unauthorised transcation I would lay the full FSA regs on them . DPA TCF- the lot. Ask them if they are employing fit and proper persons.
