Sterling is up against a mediocre Championship full-back and he's not run him once, this is an even worse performance than against Russia.

Kane looks knackered.

Vardy and Sturridge on now - Kane and Sterling off.
Good summing up. Hopefully Roy won't leave it too late.

Rooney, Dier, Lallana and Walker playing well though.

I don't understand our coaching staff's lack of football knowledge. When the ball was placed I knew Hart had to stand close to the centre of goal, and he'd be tough to beat. Why was he so far over to his right? Have they not ever seen a Bale free kick before? He did it all the time when at Spurs.

The so called experts are struggling with this concept.

Kane is ****ed.

You can blame Levy and mopo for that.

It affected Spurs and now England

Has the Welsh goalkeeper had anything to do?

Everytime it comes to a tournament I tell myself not to get all excited, they'll just disappoint you like last time. Same old same old. Sterling is absolutely ****ing appaling. Terrible control, appaling passing, abysmal finishing. It's just so crushing watching England fail time and time again. Has to be a huge change in composure and attitude from the team to turn this around.

There's just no movement or creativity. It reminds me of Brighton when neither Kayal nor Stephens are playing.

Agreed. I can understand if it's closer out, where the wall is more effective (harder to get the ball up and down) but when 35 yards out, that's lots of time for Bale to do it...so you have to cover the goal more and less reliance on the wall. I'm a terrible goalkeeper and I know that!

I have felt like this for decades but I let myself get quite enthusiastic about this tournament. What a fool I am.

Brighton factually.....
0-0 at half time would have been poor. 1-0 down is embarrassing and piss poor. Wales have done bugger all.

This reminds of when the USA beat us 2-0

I am utterly fed up now with England, shambles of a squad lets face it who is actual quality there all over rated over paid nob heads.
