Sunny was always massively overrated. She wasn’t a great wrestler (and was involved in one of the worst matches of all time) - all she could do was cut a promo and look smoking hot. For about 4 years in the mid 90’s before her diet of cock, vodka, coke and pills quickly caught up with her by the early 00’s.

During and since that time, she’s had multiple arrests (double digits, for repeated DUI’s, stalking, domestic violence, drunk and disorderly) become an alcoholic and cocaine addict, drifted into soft core then hardcore pornography and was sleeping with half of the men’s roster while her genuinely loving boyfriend eventually ended up passing away.

Finally she ends up killing someone, completely denies responsibility until the evidence is irrefutable, and cuts a deal to avoid getting 30+ years. She is very lucky to only get 17 years and an innocent person lost their life.

Fair to say Sunny is not a nice person and is a danger to society, and finally is where she should’ve been after about the 4th DUI.

Just watching a short video about the death of Owen Hart.

I was watching live on pay-per-view with a friend, and we were convinced it was an “angle” (despite Jim Ross’s very serious tone) and I remember us both saying “it’s so unrealistic, if that had really happened, there’s no way the show would go on”.

In this era, it was at the peak of Vince Russo’s reality/crash tv Attitude Era, and they were always blurring the lines as to what was scripted or a “shoot”.

When we found out it was absolutely real discussing it at school the next morning, we were absolutely heartbroken. Owen was my favourite wrestler at the time (even ahead of The Rock, Angle et al) and a little piece of me died.

I just can’t believe how incredibly callous and cold Vince McMahon was/is, a true narcissist. Even more astonishingly, the wrestlers agreed to continue.

If one’s good (in some cases best) friend dies in a bloody entertainment event in a horrific way right in front of your eyes, how on earth could you go out pretend to fight someone for entertainment?

They were literally wrestling on a canvas with Owen’s blood still wet.

A little piece of me died. These people are scum, basically, but especially Vince McMahon.

If all the WWE network stuff ended up on Netflix, I would be VERY happy.

Unrealistic perhaps, but with Disney+ (Simpsons, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar etc etc) we are seeing some of these big streaming platforms swallowing each other.

I can't really justify having WWE network, given I just want it for watching WWF/WCW PPVs from 1990-2000.

Monday Night Raw is moving off linear television for the first time ever.

Slim Jim, who signed a new, big money deal with WWE in August suspended their sponsorship. Which meant it was only a matter of time, and overnight Vince McMahon announced he was resigning from WWE and Endeavour/TKO holdings (the umbrella company that now owns WWE and UFC) with immediate effect.

Unlike when he "retired" (the first time this story broke), now WWE has been sold, Vince is not a majority stockholder so can't force himself back into control via a coup.

This is the first time since 1950 that no McMahon has a job in WWE/WWF/WWWF. Some in WWE are hoping Stephanie may come back, but the structure of the company is different to when she left and there may not be room for her.

Some are expecting Endeavour to clear out anyone who was close to Vince.
