The Worst Match You've Seen This Season

The only reason Cardiff away isnt winning this by a country miles is because it was a Tuesday night and most fans were smart enough not to attend. It can be best compared to that football match in the Simpsons where the ball never moves out of the centre circle. So utterly poo watching 90 + minutes of Gordon Greer turning out for no apparent reason with no pressue on the ball, cutting back in again (still with no pressure on the ball) and then just playing another sideways pass.

I'd go with this. A clear winner for me, which those of you who saw both Millwall games may be staggered to learn. Horrific game of football between two teams utterly bereft of confidence or ideas.

In all honesty the match itself became a bit of a sideshow against Millwall what with the anti-Sami protests. Blackpool at home was undoubtedly the worst performance.

There was the rugby scrum in front of goal where we could not get the ball let alone tap it in and the only other action was Lua Lua smashing the ball into a Cardiff players back with a nice thwack noise.

Millwall was my first thought - I didn't go to Derby despite buying a match ticket and after 15 minutes my decision not to go was proved right - that must rank as one of the worst tactical line ups for a long time.

I have only seen two games in the flesh this season - Burton and Fulham (A).

I can count myself to be extremely lucky as both were bloody lovely evenings out.

Millwall at home on the telly was absolutely horrific and showed just how far we had fallen.

Millwall. Because it looked like we were going down and not a player on the pitch appeared to know what they were meant to be doing. We were still being told that Hyypia was the man for the job. And let's face it - Millwall were terrible. The players and supporters felt resigned to relegation. And the management team ...................... were out of their depth. Not waving, but drowning.

I am tempted to say Birmingham away as that was a sign of things to come, except worse for most of the game but then Tex came on for his debut and I fell in love and the rest of the Albion team stood back and admired..

Gambling that Hyypia would walk so he didn't get a big pay off. Phew lucky that one worked out.

Cardiff away. It was actually worse than the 0-0 at Gillingham v Donny for Fans United 2. The level of ineptitude displayed by both sides was worthy of an Arts Council grant.

Without any fireman's hats to admire either.

Thankfully I missed Millwall at home.

But went to Birmingham, Blackpool and Millwall away and all games were absolute turd.

I seem to remember having a slight bit of rage walking back to the car in Blackpool.
