has the potential to do that but hasn't done much of it this season (allowing of course for his injuries of course) ....bit suspect temperament wise imho...Noone a tad more mature...Noone over Lua Lua for me .....as an aside its interesting to c how opinion over buckley has changed he was referred to sick note by some posters (not me) in the season now he's best thing since sliced bread...how times change

With you on Buckley.

Let's hope we are saying the same about Vicente soon!

I can dream can't I

Problem is Noone's final ball is poor.

Lua Lua will get crosses in, shoot straight , and is a bit special from free kicks. All of which Noone can't do

Noone's so called poor final ball is greatly exaggerated.

LuaLua has put many a cross into the stand this season.

Noone offers a lot more work rate and defensive play than Buckley or LuaLua.

A large part of Buckley and LuaLua's games are their acceleration, to push the ball past a player and go. Noone offers something a little different as he is better at beating a man by dribbling.

I'll be upset if he goes, he's a quality player, hugely influential earlier in the season when he was keeping LuaLua out of the side and he has a good future ahead of him. Really hoping this is a load of rubbish and he goes nowhere.

Let's wait and see what happens but telling that Poyet's quoted as saying every player has their price, true. If Cardiff have come back with close to a million quid then he'll be off.

someone posted earlier that a bid of £1.25m had been accepted, with Noone getting a very large salary increase. This rumour was doing the rounds big style in the lounges yestyerday. If it happens good luck to Nooney. All players as Gus says have a price. It always sad to see players leave, but we move on. Wonder what Vokes was thinking sitting in the stands.

£950k as reported earlier

That is IMO an excellant piece of business by us if true. Always sorry to see a well liked and talented player leave but he is our 3rd best winger and we have made a 600k profit to put back in the pot.

Totally agree. People are only saying it now - he was brilliant at the start of the season.

Exactly, nailed it.I will be gutted if Noone goes,he is a fearless player and can easily play in the prem as he showed against Sunderland and Liverpool. It will be a big mistake to sell him for this price and all the ones saying it is good business have got short memories.

At this moment in time I would put Noone above Lua Lua in the pecking order. I think it would be a big loss. He will only of got better under Poyet in my opinion

I hope this is not true ! The number of MoM's he's won this season shows how important he has been to us and how highly we need him. Him and Buckley are the 2 most exciting players we have. Have you not noticed how all the stands rise when they get the ball !! It's players like these that get us to our feet because we know they are capable of doing things that other players cant do. I'm so happy after yesterday but I will be so sad if we lose Craig Noone. I know it's unlikely that Gus will play both Noone and Buckley at the same time, but If Buckley's hamstring goes again, we'll sorely need Nooney's skills to get behind defences. I hope he stays cos he could be worth 2-3 million or more in a season or two

Opinions please lads on Craig Noone!

Alright boys,

What's your opinions on Craig noone ive just been told by a Cardiff player deals done and dusted and personal terms agreed ps were also announcing a striker over the next two days although I dont know who!

Apart from knowing he's a roofer who ha a fairy tale match against the scousers I've got not much idea about him!

How good is he? We've agreed 950k, not a big sum either!!!

Cheers

It's recently become a commonly held opinion that he has no final ball. ???

His potential far exceeds any fee less than £1million.
