Definitely shoot.

Think "you're shit aaargh" does actually have the potential to put off the keeper, although it should probably be done out of time, rather than in time with his kick. I don't like the ongoing "aaarghs" when Brighton players kick the ball though. It used to always be "aaarghs" until the opposition player lost the ball, then there would be a cheer and it would stop.

It would be nice if the opposition subbed their Goalie, so we could give the one player a "whooo?" and a "you're sh1t Aaaaargh". Maybe even an ironic "shooot" if he came out of his area to clear a ball.

Let's all sit in silence and applaud the away fans for coming along and give them a hearty cheer when they score. Then the world would truly be a better place.
DOWN with this sort of thing.

Agree 100% with all that.

Shoot is v funny, and pirate arrrrghs should go on until we have the ball.

Perhaps some form of etiquette poster is required in the style of one of those workplace H&S posters.

All of these should continue, especially "pirate" Aaargh's after the kick.

Along with Ole! every time we complete a pass during a sustained period of possession.

Its these sorts of things that the kids love and makes for a great experience for them. Long may it continue.

You've missed the 'handball' shouts after the opposition fans have had their own shout 'turned down' by the ref!

On the subject of "handball" shouts, if anyone in the WSU near black G hears shouts of "Jemima" it is usually someone in our group.

"Handball" sounds like "Hanbal", the doll from playschool, ergo we now shout Jemima instead. Oh, the laughs we have.

Spot on. My boy doesn't generally join in with the songs (unless we're at an away game) but you can guarantee he will bawl WHOOOOO?? into the ear of whoever is unlucky enough to be sat in front of us every time theres an opposition substitution. He also does a good pirate impression after a goal kick which often outlasts the rest of the rest of the North Stand by a good minute or so.

I've always thought this. If fans peaked BEFORE a 'keeper kicked, would be much more likely to distrupt him.
