The ultimate ROCKDOWN..

Both superb, but the Stones did have more hits over a longer period so I'd punt for them.. close call though!

What does NSC think?

This is the Stones, who are better than Led Zep in my book.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Who..

Real Good Looking Boy, Behind Blue Eyes, My Generation, I Can See for Miles, Pinball Wizard et all... f***ing excellent, but christ what about Honkey Tonk Woman? It's Only Rock N Roll, Tumbling Dice, Beast of Burden, Brown Sugar, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Start Me Up, Angie....

It HAS to be the Stones for me..but only just..

Is the WRONG answer.

Got a feeling inside (Can't explain)
It's a certain kind (Can't explain)
I feel hot and cold (Can't explain)
Yeah, down in my soul, yeah (Can't explain)

I said ... (Can't explain)
I'm feeling good now, yeah, but (Can't explain)

Dizzy in the head and I'm feeling blue
The things you've said, well, maybe they're true
I'm gettin' funny dreams again and again
I know what it means, but

Can't explain
I think it's love
Try to say it to you
When I feel blue

But I can't explain (Can't explain)
Yeah, hear what I'm saying, girl (Can't explain)

Dizzy in the head and I'm feeling bad
The things you've said have got me real mad
I'm gettin' funny dreams again and again
I know what it means but

Can't explain
I think it's love
Try to say it to you
When I feel blue

But I can't explain (Can't explain)
Forgive me one more time, now (Can't explain)

I said I can't explain, yeah
You drive me our ot my mind
Yeah, I'm the worrying kind, babe
I said I can't explain

What he said.
And The Who were still better, even before Brian Jones took a wrong turning around the Hundred Acre Wood.

Reckon the Small Faces had a greater groove than the both of them, mind...

Out here in the fields
I fight for my meals
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
I don't need to be forgiven

Don't cry
Don't raise your eye
It's only teenage wasteland

Sally ,take my hand
Travel south crossland
Put out the fire
Don't look past my shoulder
The exodus is here
The happy ones are near
Let's get together
Before we get much older

Teenage wasteland
It's only teenage wasteland
Teenage wasteland
Oh, oh
Teenage wasteland
They're all wasted!

Yeah right. So overated that they still fill 70,000 seater stadiums. I liked the Who but to compare the 2..... mmm don`t think so.

The Who, easy seen then 10 times including Worthing 1974, The Stones twice, love their music but do not come anywhere near the Who live, but Led Zep beat them both.....IMHO

Have only seen the Who live once and that was at the Centre so maybe need to have seen them at a better venue. The Stones were awesome at Twickers last summer.

The Who by miles.

Never understood the Stones if I'm honest. But fair doos and all that.

The Who have soundtracked my entire teenage youth, I mean I'm 18 and they were at their peak in the 60's, the fact that their music has stood the test of time and still means as much now says it all really.

Legends.
