This is from the Mirror, that should increase the apprehension among the great unwashed.

One of their fans on here had the nerve to suggest that if Everton were to pay Haha £120,000+ per week football would officially be dead. Yet here they are paying Mamadou Sakho £100,000 a week. They've clearly adopted the Portsmouth model and we all know how that ended.

And Benteke is rumoured to be on £120 grand a week.

Immediately dismissable shite.

That'd be the same Mamadou Sakho who has 28 appearances for France and has been a regular in both Europea League and Champions League sides? The only reason Palace were able to sign him in the first place is because he has had fitness issues. He's an outstanding footballer and the best CB I've ever seen at Palace.

Indeed. Who would pay £13m for a player with such a shit attitude that he refused to play last season, despite Roy saying he was fit and there was nothing wrong with him? Madness.

What are you on about ?
It’s ignorance, and words like that and “ mongs” shouldn’t be excepted in the 21st century.
It’s nothing about the moral high ground you idiot.

You spend half your life on a rivals forum then want to call out a BHAFC fan as an idiot because you have come over all precious.

Bless!

TBF, I think they would get a lot more for him than 13 million, and I doubt Lyon has put a bid in for him at all.

But, it may shake more serious bidders out of the trees, if they think he could be after a way out of the pit of despair.

It would make me laugh, though.

Sakho was out for a few weeks with a calf strain. The medical staff cleared him for a return but he said he was still feeling the effects of his innjury and wasn't confident in his fitness yet. He came back to the side shortly after and was back to his brilliant best.

It was a weird situation but I don't think anyone at Palace would accuse him of having a shit attitude.

Of course I bloody would.
If you read my earlier post, I feel quite strongly about this type of “ banter’ .
Anyway, crack on, I’ll leave you to it.

If you can't stand the heat.......f*&k off back to your own forums.

Simples!

If he were to be sold we'd be getting every penny of our £30m investment back. This is utterly irrelevant though, as he won't be sold.

"The pit of despair" is actually a rather positive place at the moment considering we've had a good pre-season and it's looking increasingly likely that Wilfried will still be a Palace player after the window closes.

You lost the plot completely Dougie? You too spend half your life on your rivals forum then want to report posts because we being nasty 'bout you. Awww....diddums. You can always ask for your account to be permanently closed if it has all got a bit too much.

What did you think you were going to get coming on NSC? Breakfast in bed?

She's, correctly, unimpressed by the use of an offensive term for disabled people to describe the Always Ultras.
That sort of language should not be tolerated on either the forum or in life generally.

Sidenote: I'm equally appalled that those with mental disability are compared to that bunch of ****s.

To be honest I don't want him to go anywhere for another week, so they have no time to spend any of the money.

Shit attitude, questionable fitness, you aren't competing for Champions League or Europa League spots given your form over the last few seasons. Yet you are paying him like you are a club that is competing at that level. Although it's not surprising you don't see any problem with it, it's the Palace way.

So you think that Sakho, who played only half your league fixtures, who has had discipline problems at his last 2 clubs, and hasn’t actually played for France since 2016, has increased his value by 25% on what he cost you?

We need a stronger word than deluded.

Your twitter feed is not as optimistic as you are saying either, lots of unhappy punters with your transfer window.

No, I don't think that his value has increased by 25%, which is why I didn't say that. £30m however is a completely fair price for a player that a) Palace have no desire or need to sell, b) is one of the best defenders outside the top 4 and c) is still only 28.

Sakho was not that popular at Liverpool as he was superb one week, crap the next, injured the week after. No
Doubt on his day a good player. Marked Dunk well for Murray’s goal at Selhurst! In my view no defender is worth 30 million, football has become a financial joke. It will explode soon with all this silly money being talked about.
