I don't know anything about music but I thought the black soul singer who was the first to get knocked out of the final was the most impressive. The result seemed a bit of a surprise to me.

I used to sing in choirs. To be honest it's a pain to have a real ear for music, an off note can really make you wince. Like I said some people just don't seem to notice.
