Does your vaccine card have the batch number on it, or did you download the app?

I find it strange some batches like mine have PV in front and then some dont have any numerical numbers at all. I'm trying to figure out if me or any of my family had one of the 3 batches.

Just seen that the UK got 3 batches are of the Indian AZ - COVIDSHIELD vaccine, which I gather is the main reason the WHO wont recognise AZ as a legit vaccine.

Well about 10 EU countries now recognise it including Spain, Greece, Germany and as of yesterday Belgium. But not France....

Ditto with my partner. Let me know if you find any news on this (and I'll reciprocate), because it's been sparse on that front -- despite the fact that a couple of weeks ago our wonderful PM said it'd all be fine and sorted.

Up to 15 now it seems. The ones that stand out for Brits travelling are France and Italy. As my early post indicates NHS documentation isn't always accurate

it is accurate. there are vaccines made by SI, named Covshield, that has not had marketing approval in the EU. there are some vaccine made by SI for Astrazeneca, who does have marketing approval. seems some authorities misunderstood the regulations to interpret those made by SI arent approved. its the same vaccine either way which is approved, its only the marketing licence thats the difference.

France now recognises the Indian version of the AZ vaccinations. It’s also not necessary for double vaccinated travellers to provide a PCR test to travel there from the U.K. we 18th July.

Non vaccinated people over 12 will have to, plus have an essential reason for travel.

Unfortunately it appears to be true, as a government minister wouldn't deny when questioned on breakfast television this morning, simply saying it was the responsibility of the carrier to check passengers paperwork - I guess we can do away with border controls completely then, and put the onus on the carrier to do the job of border control officers!

Airlines are checking/double everything - Telegraph are reporting the opposite, people queuing for 90 minutes as paper work had to be checked manually.

The Government not knowing anything is not a shock.

Airports have been checking paperwork for years. Ever since the rule came in that if they deliver a passenger who doesn't have the correct paperwork, they have to give him a flight back home at the airline's expense and try and get money off him later.
