Oh dear.

Our batting's not in good nick this season...our highest first innings score is, I believe 311.

According to SCR, Monty played on his own stumps trying to leave the ball and Hopkinson was bowled by him playing the ball hard in to the ground, ball bouncing up and landing on top of the bails, he had time to knock the ball away, but he didnt (so said John Lees)

Yet we're joint top of the table. This opener situation needs to be resolved though and it seems Prior is probably the choice to go in and open. At elast if he gets out he'll get out after putting a few quick runs on the board where as Monty at the minute is scoring f*** all (ave 11 this season).

Oh dear Hoppo.

Monty's dismissal screams of lack of form.

Well I don'ty know about that but he DOES have the McGhee disease of playing people in the wrong positions. The other day he had a WICKETKEEPER opening the BATTING! I mean, how daft is that?

don't worry... we will reach our first batting point in the 125th over

I agree with whoever said Rana should be higher up the order (and Mushy...)

Why should he be furthur up the order? He's our striker bowler for crying out loud. To be honest I think everyone that is coming in ahead of him is a better batsman too.

With the obvious exception of Monty!

The problem is that Murray doesn't want to open and I don't think it's Prior's best position either.

Perhaps we should get an opener as Rana's replacement.

give the gloves to Hodd and have Prior open in county champs games

don't think Prior would be too happy

or MAKE Goodwin open

don't think Goodwin would be too happy
