Morning all. New to the board. Hockey's my main game, but get down the Withdean every so often.

Anyway, wanted to share this with you. It has some relevance due to Soccer AM's crossbar challenge ... Never seen it performed like this!! Must say I am rather impressed!!

I've seen that done live. We had some very decent hockey players at Brookes and it is possible. Luck plays a major part though!

Surely thats more like hurling or shinty is not? I played hockey regularly, albeit many moons ago, and I don't recall ever picking it up and hiting it. If he'd have lifted it from the halfway line and hit the bar that would have been impressive!

Saw it on my mate's facebook wall - he reckons he knows the guy who did it ... Don't think it is fake tho, there's a longer version on their website it shows a longer version of the video and loads of attempts!!

If you have ever played hockey, you will realise it is more than a 'ladies sport'. Brutal at times.
