He wasnt the one who kept on shouting for them to play Burning Bridges or Pictures Of Matchstick Men between every song was he?

No, that was Dave the Quo. He's a big Who fan from back in the day and gets confused easily.

I was gutted they didn't play We're in the Army now though!

Sounds like you lot went to the Hungry Years.

Did they do that rather good cover of Drinking in Littlehampton? Were they any good?

I haven't got a clue either? I was too busy trying to record the entire gig on my mobile phone so I can show the inaudible shaky footage of the back of someone arms to my mates on youtube.

They did indeed, they started their encore with it. And it was very good live as well

They weren't amazing, but the good bits outweighed the bad. The first track they did, The Neighbour, was bloody awful. But it got gradually better throughout the set. Don't wait up and Wide awake had the place going nuts.

Worth the 12 quid entry.......but maybe not the 12 quid the robbing bastards at the multi storey charged us to park for 3.5 hours on a bloody Tuesday night (Tubs, that reminds me, I owe you £6)

There was a lad at the 'Years who changed his name by deed poll to Francis Rossi - he was such a quo nutter.
Little geezer, even had the same hair and muttonchops as Rossi had at the time.

I heard he topped himself though, a while later.

 can't think why. He sounded totally stable mentally.

When I wake up in the mornin' light
I pull on my jeans and I feel all right
I pull my blue jeans on
I pull my old blue jeans on (cha-cha)
I pull my blue jeans on
I pull my old blue jeans on (cha-cha)

It's the weekend, and I know that you're free
So pull on your jeans and come on out with me
I need to have you near me
I need to feel you close to me (cha-cha)
I need to have you near me
I need to feel you close to me

You and me, we'll go motorbike ridin'
In the sun and the wind and the rain
I got money in my pocket
Got a tiger in my tank
And I'm king of the road again

I'll meet ya in the usual place
I don't need a thing, 'cept your pretty face
And I need to have you near me
I need to feel you close to me (cha-cha)
I need to have you near me
I need to feel you close to me (cha-cha)
I need to have you near me
I need to feel you close to me

I pull on my jeans and I feel all right
I pull my blue jeans on
I pull my old blue jeans on (cha-cha)
I pull my blue jeans on
I pull my old blue jeans on (cha-cha)
I pull my blue jeans on,
I pull my old blue jeans on (cha-cha)
(Cha-cha)(cha-cha)

What a Rock GOD, surely Dylan shook in his winkle-pickers when he first heard that?
