The trouble with all seater stadiums

In my opinion is if you have a nice 28,000 all seater, even if your getting 16, 17,000 they still look empty, bring back terraces.

Yeah and there's very little atmosphere when you compare them to the old style standing areas. There should be a mixture of both at grounds IMHO.

Not sure about that, Carlisle has been seats for Away fans the last couple of times I have been there. Isn't Orient going to be all seater sometime soon? I'm sure Port Vale was seats when we went there for our Promotion party a few years ago ...

I think Yeovil is still terrace at both ends...

Another thing in the depths of winter it's a dam sight easier keeping warm standing up than sitting down.

Abandoning terracing was very much a knee-jerk post Hillsbro' by Lord Scarmen.

Lords would no doubt sit down, so campaigning for safe terracing by the more regular punter is probably the only forward to fulfill the wishes of the large numbers who prefer to stand, very much part and parcel of the whole experience (and eminently preferable in adverse weather conditions) for 100 years prior to 1989.

Yep, both are all seater now.
