Saw some bloke running in to the palace stand and then loads of stewards everywhere. What actually happened?

Not sure what he was on but he just managed to stop himself from slipping all the way down before he even got the the Palace bloke he took a swing at. Was a rather pointless exercise and quite pathetic but did relieve a bit of the tension from the on pitch antics!

Complete idiot, only made worse by other idiots who applauded him as he was dragged out of the ground (which seemed to take forever) followed closely by the idiots who preffered to stand with their backs to the game trying to film the whole mess on their phones.

Honestly.

Honestly.

I was applauding the stewards for getting him!

Sad part of this is that he will probably be banned from football matches for years.
From where I was sitting the stewards looked heavy handed and had no idea how to restrain properly. At one point they seemed to almost 'throw' him over the hording bit where he got stuck until being lifted over head first.

Not sure why a ban is the 'sad part of this'

Why is that "sad"?

He ran to the away fans and tried to punch one of them according to the O/P.

If you did that in a pub you'd get barred, why should football be any different?
