Linda is hilarious in how she's just bumbling through. She clearly doesn't understand the game (if she did, she would have voted for Dan tonight as it was clearly either him or her).
At the end it’s just Linda sitting there on her own, utterly baffled and unaware she’s just won the game

Trig, you can't force someone to be a traitor can you? It's up to them.

Yes they can. I think they did it in the first season.

Now someone could choose to leave the show instead, in which case they'd leave, and someone else would get recruited. Otherwise you could have zero traitors left, and no murders because all traitors have gone, and the show ends.

To me that would be perverting the whole point of the programme.

Unfortunately, the primary point of the program is not for the traitors and faithfuls to do battle until there is a winner, the primary point of the program is to entertain the audience. Having the show end after three days because all the faithfuls are smart is impressive, but short lived entertainment.

I get that. But I'd object to someone being forced to be a traitor if they didn't want to be.

I'd object more strongly if the season ended early because there were no traitors.

Also, at the start of each series, they choose a few traitors. If no one wants to be a traitor, they're still chosen to be a traitor.

Aha. But when Claudia asks them to swear allegiance to the traitors cause, soon after they're chosen - they could just
say "no, fu** off I don't want to be one".

At which point Claudia calls over a member of the production team saying 'Could you explain the concept of a TV show to Livi please, then we'll do it again'.

When applying to go on the show, they've probably already agreed that they may have to play the part or a faithful or traitor, and they accept that.

Fair enough.
