Tsk, I seem to keep saying the same thing: people always assume that the FA actively WANTS to stop footballers misbehaving. I'm totally convinced however that they don't - because angry, snarling players losing their rag looks good on Sky, especially to a load of stupid people who prize "passion" above everything else. Seeing if player will step even further out of line makes for good box office.

clubs like Chelski and Arsenal wouldn't have any players within a month.

Watch out Chris McPhee!

Funny you should mention Chris McPhee - this was in yesterday's Daily Mirror:

'MCPHEE COULD BE FIRST TO DIVE OUT THE DOOR

Torquay chairman Chris Roberts recently laid down the law at Plainmoor when he pledged to SACK his own players if they dived.

This hardline stance was applauded in football, as Roberts challendged other clubs to follow suit.

Striker Chris McPhee may be the fuirst to face disciplinary action for being booked in a reserve game this week, despite "begging" refereee Andrew Bennett not to issue a yellow card for fear of being the first player to be shown the door by the chairman'
