Has been a lovely Spring Day so a wander around the garden this evening and a couple of glasses of Canaletto Pinot Grigio.

Happy Easter all NSCers, hope you all stay well... :drink:

I’ve a Sancerre in the fridge. Cheers!

I've been WFH on the laptop in the garden all afternoon, quaffing Fosters top in the sunshine. Shit beer but (a) its weak and refreshing while I'm working, and (b) its all Tesco had case-of-lager wise last time I went. However, things will greatly improve shortly when I crack open a bottle of my favourite red greek dessert wine, Mavrodaphne of Patras.

I've got some COCKBURNS in the cupboard as well, for a cheeky nightcap later.

Homebrew amber ale, tasting very good 3 weeks in. Will do a lager this weekend, good way to spend a day in lockdown.

Moved onto a Hudson Manhattan Rye Whisky, if you’ve not tried it I’d encourage you to :whisky::whisky:

There are only two words I can think of which aren't improved by the addition of the term 'red wine'. Unfortunately, you've used both of them

I used to love Good Friday. It was always my favourite bank holiday. I'd always go on a pub crawl with friends years ago - we had some right laughs. A meal would be thrown in, maybe a round of mini golf or something. I can remember Good Friday 5 years ago - we lost 1-0 at home to Norwich - which sandwiched drinking beforehand and after-hand in Brighton. Some happy memories from Good Friday's past.

Take away burger from the pub tonight and a 2 pint milk carton of Harvey's for this one. :drink:

Had my first half decent session since lockdown last night, and ended up a bit piddled after just 4 cans of Red Stripe  It was going down rather nicely though.
