Goals change games
Only if the conceding team are capable of scoring.Goals change games
The first goal was offside too. The linesman forgot his briefing and raised his flag. The tv didn’t show a decent angle in the replays. It was offside.
But it’s irrelevant given we conceded three utterly terrible non-offside ones. That’s more worrying.
Focusing on the third goal is pathetic though.
Yep. But only because it was off sideThe bad loser thread.
Very harsh. The pundits were also querying the decisions. Steve Sidwell pointed out a missing line. The bad loser thread.
It wasn’t offside. Lamptey clearly plays him on.The first goal was offside too. The linesman forgot his briefing and raised his flag. The tv didn’t show a decent angle in the replays.
I think we'll probably have to accept the first one. Even my home-made snip and sketch rule looks as though it was onside. The first goal was offside too. The linesman forgot his briefing and raised his flag. The tv didn’t show a decent angle in the replays.
I’d say it’s pathetic to say it’s pathetic…..we must obey those who know best and of course if you criticise those who are critical that’s criticised ……they are beyond criticism. How is it pathetic? Its a goal that shouldn't have counted and its being rightly pointed out
Sorry, not what I saw.It wasn’t offside. Lamptey clearly plays him on.
Where’s the ball?I think we'll probably have to accept the first one. Even my home-made snip and sketch rule looks as though it was onside.

As indeed were we.Miles off
Just leaving the foot of the guy on the right hand side of the semi-circle. The one who looks as though he is semaphoring.Where’s the ball?
It really wasn't. Lamptey was playing him on and I suspect Dunk too.The first goal was offside too. The linesman forgot his briefing and raised his flag. The tv didn’t show a decent angle in the replays.
Look at post 28, although you can’t see where the ball is. Lamptey was facing the wrong way and Dunk is anticipating the ball coming in, so why was the Roma player already setting off? His fellow player was well offside, but I’m not counting him.It really wasn't. Lamptey was playing him on and I suspect Dunk too.
The third was quite obviously off though and I don't see why it makes anyone a bad loser to make that claim
Not the point of the thread. But just look at the gaps in that picture.I think we'll probably have to accept the first one. Even my home-made snip and sketch rule looks as though it was onside.

Yes, I've seen that post. I've seen it on TV a fair few times too. Not sure how it's up for consideration.Look at post 28, although you can’t see where the ball is. We may well of done or , as we were having a good spell, we may have halved the defecit. Thanks to a terrible var decision we’ll never know.Bold to watch us defend for the rest of the game and think we wouldn’t have conceded at least once more.
Nobody can tell me where the ball is and when it was kicked. It’s just a picture.Yes, I've seen that post. I've seen it on TV a fair few times too. Not sure how it's up for consideration.
