Further bloodshed and chaos, unimaginable human suffering, mass refugee crisis?
We leave them to it after our previous failed interventions in the middle east so Russia steps into the vacuum with Iran and Hezbollah.
Syria conflict: Bashar Assad vows to retake whole country

Wahhabist foreign rebels fighting from populated areas and using the people they say they are protecting as human shields. They don't care about the people, if they did they would leave.
Who does care for the people?
By far the biggest humanitarian catastrophe in my lifetime and yet again all in the name of oil and money.
For Assad he has a duty to protect the people who live in and have escaped to Damascus. If he and his army left, everyone in Damascus would be slaughtered. On the other hand if the foreign rebels left there would be no further collateral damage.
If the below video was happening in our country, we would want to be protected from it?
Syrian Rebels Praise Bin Laden: 2012

The whole stinking affair makes me sick to my stomach and ashamed of the human race. By far the biggest humanitarian catastrophe in my lifetime and yet again all in the name of oil and money. Can see this one ultimately leading to world war 3.
Do you work for the Syrian government or have you some undeclared interest that makes you support a brutal dictator?
Do you work for the Saudi Sunni Wahhabists or have you some undeclared interest that makes you support the brutal monarchy that exports terror?
The west and Qatar/Saudi want to build an oil pipeline through Syria in order to reduce the need for Iranian oil that we currently rely on. Qatar are paying for the rebels to continue the war to get rid of Assad as he is pro Russia/Iran so won't let the oil through. And that's what this utter disgrace of a conflict really boils down to.is it? no, Syria has no meaningful oil reserves on the global scale. its in the name of religious, sectarian divisions.

You have attempted to defend Assad (the indefensible). When did I do the same for Saudi Sunni Wahibsts or Saudi Arabia?
Care to answer the question?
Do you work for the Syrian government or have you some undeclared interest that makes you support a brutal dictator?
I understand Assad's position and you are anti Assad because of all the propaganda you listen to.
You do realise that the chemical attacks were nothing to do with Assad.
UN accuses Syrian rebels of chemical weapons use.

You know that in that peaceful protest 7 police died and the Baath Party Headquarters and courthouse were torched.

But don't let the truth get in the way.
I have noticed that there is a growing trend on the internet of pro-putin 'new world order' conspiracy theorists. Putin is held up as an icon for his strong stance against American imperialism.
If you support this type of view then you will naturally come down on the side of Assad.
I'm sure some people claim they understand Hitler/Stalin/XDictator but that doesn't excuse their actions. Assad is a brutal dictator that is a fact not propaganda.
Now for the third time I ask if would you care to divulge the vested interests/reasons that cause you to defend the indefensible?
