actually you have a selective memory because he walked out on us to go to reading even though we finished top of the division ??

Pushed not walked and it's hard to finish top of the division with less than a quarter of the season gone.
ok well he left us at the top of the division...and he didnt get forced to go...he wanted to go...he was intrested in reading and brighton didnt want a manager who would look at different clubs to take over
if he wanted to be loyal to the club he would not have gone no matter what the money was...there is a thing called declining a job ?
Hiring an ex often doesn't work, but I don't blame Coppell for leaving given the situation we were in (no proper ground, no money etc). What decent manager would have wanted to stay with us in the last dozen years? Now that our new ground is becoming a reality rather than a pipe dream, there's good reason for a decent manager to want to be here.god help this club, its going backwards again, appointing an ex has been, who if i remember walked out on brighton

ok i stand corrected but surely we dont want another ex manager,, look what happened with ole micky !!!
