That's what I was thinking. Oxygen anyone? :lolol:

Mate, I'm working on Shaftesbury Ave these days - must do lunch sometime!

We are often found in the lesser of evil pubs The Imperial which is between the old Entrance to Home nightclub and Hogshead.

Why havent you recommended it here then, its just off of the strand, and a bit of a walk?

Well it's not cheap is it!!

Oh and there is a chance that you might be in there and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Not Luton! Thank God
For cheapness the Chandos is the place to go. I also like the Ship and Shovel (head down villiers street and then go under the arches and up the steps), the lemon tree (opposite the cop shop) and Walkers of Whitehall (just on Whitehall, down an alley just before the Silver Cross opposite the Theatre)

Better still, get some beers or wine from tescos and then sit in St James park. Many a happy memory of snogging the fit but posh girl from the office there in the summer of 2003.

Some good pubs in Seaford. And they're cheaper than The Strand, as well as a much nice area. ;)

Wouldn't count on it. The only pub in seaford that I would consider good AND cheaper than London is the Plough (and even that has it's downsides due to the miserable staff)

the princess loiuse is aesthetically very nice but is ultimately a shitpit, plus why trek all the way up kingsway - no better than those shep-neames, and sam smith pubs are the weird plaugue of strange drinks in central london - they have a monopoly of beautiful street corner pubs near where i live but they just sell wierd drink and smell of fat and are genrally dusty and dark.

porterhouse is fantastic, absolutely amazing selection of beers and pretty cheap. full of sanza's though and fat necked egg chasers from richmond and battersea.
