on travelling many miles from devon to watch my beloved albion,i was met today with complete hostility by the stewards......
sitting in h block, having a sing song, and i gets pulled up by a jumped up fat prick wannabe copper and his hideously ugly(seriously looked like a camel)female assistant for standing up and starting a stand up if you hate palace chant...f***ing unbeleivable.its no wonder its so hard to get some atmos going at the withdean.......the twat then approached me at the end of the game and said because i was wearing my knee brace i should have been sitting in the disabled section...what an arsehole.so,to all you monkey arsed stewards who ruined my day.....go f*** yourselfs.
big kiss.

Glass Case of EMOTION
Agree with you on this, I paid £24 (plus £2 booking fee) to watch my albion in J Block today and all we get faced with is hostility from the stewards. Now, I wouldn't mind sitting down but when everyone else is standing up it is near on impossible to see the bloody game. Plus the fact that not one Leeds fan was sat down...this went on all game. Talk about double standards !! And we are the home fans !! cut us some slack !!

You want to hear about the shit Worthing Paul had to put up with today.

He got to the ground about five minutes late, and by that time the stewards decided to search everyone. He got searched, then just as he was about to go in, the steward said 'you'll have to wait, while I get a supervisor, because I didn't search you properly...' No, really.

I'll let someone else take up the story (it gets worse - even to the point of the supervisor telling him he'd never seen him at Withdean before, even though he's only missed about three games since 1999) because, even though I know him not to run to any tall tales, some of it is hard to believe...

Quite interesting, when about to go through the turnstile I was asked my age. When I told him he let me go through without even checking my ticket, why was this and whats the point?

Isn't it a coincidence that the only people who have 'run ins' with stewards also happen to be the people with an issue with following rules and instructions. Funny that.

Whilst understanding to a degree what you are saying one can't help thinking f*** OFF and eat your prawn sandwich somewhere else!!

No wonder theres no f***ing atmosphere with whinging pricks like you out there FFS!!!

charming

Can I just state the person who started this thread should have been thrown out himself for:
A) Abuse and failure to comply with the Stewards on a number of occasions.
and
B) The first thing he did was grab a fellow fan by the neck and threaten him because he thought he was in his seat when in fact he wasn't.

And to cap it off there were 3 Leeds fans in front of me sarcastically taking the piss for the whole game however the couldn't be ejected as they did nothing wrong towards anyone else.

Now that "Stand up if you hate Palarse" has degenerated into a chant about stewarding, H block's credibility as a so-called "singing section" has evaporated altogether. And wtf was that squeaky "Manchester Manchester ..." nonsense all about? Getting behind the Albion? I don't think so.

The stewards should chuck the lot of them out.

I usually thing the H block twats having a pop at the stewards are knobs....but the stewards were complete DICKHEADS. Really hope the club can sort them out for next season/Falmer

You see, any sympathy you may have got evapourated with the phrase 'sitting in h block'....

Isn't it a coincidence that the only people who have 'run ins' with stewards also happen to be the people with an issue with following rules and instructions. Funny that.

I noticed that too!
