I do not like to judge people by their names BUT

Simon Darcy ABBOTT

and

David Raymond St Clair PHILIPS

You can drill down on the director's name to see what other appointments they hold. They have quite a few between them. Then drill down further on their active companies and see how many charges have been registered against that company.

Anyhow, if you pay out money for something that does not exist, you have more money than sense!!

Interesting stuff. If the comms for this new venture are anything to go by, I can fully understand why Darcy PR Ltd suffered a compulsory liquidation.

I have only once been a Speedy Wanker, and that was only because MrsBC had paid for some luggage and it camewith. It didn't make any difference really as it appeared the majority of passengers had also got it. We then sat on the tarmac for 2.5 hours because of bad weather over Europe. Shrug emoji.
Similar - when flying to Barcelona* it was going to be about £60 each to add larger cabin bags, so it was cheaper to choose an extra legroom, speedy boarding, extra cabin bag seat up the front for about £20 each...

* where I stayed at the NSC-approved Barcelo Raval...

The Brighton Soho House isn’t a patch on the London one !
I've been invited to Soho House Berlin tomorrow night. I have been informed, not by the person who has invited me, its 'full of loud pretentious wankers and expensive drinks'. This is some compliment, it will be interesting to see if it lives up to this.

Isnt that a description of every Soho House venue?

My argument is that if you fly a lot it does make a difference. After a while all the extra 10-20 mins or so waiting to board become a pain...time which could be spent sitting your seat reading or something. On it's own on an islolated flight I agree it's not much, but repeatedly it does became a pain. It also coincided with a point in life where I started to invest in my comfort so myriad little things like this became important. I certainly do not do it to look smug or play one-upmanship etc.....I have plenty of other vehicles for this.

We’ve done SpeedyBoarder a few times. Always correctly managed by EasyJet at LGW so that no one cheats. But in random other European airports it’s often abandoned, ground crew at both hold luggage checkin and flight boarding allowing a free for all.

It's just not worth going. The only reason I ever went to any Soho house was for the pool in the summer. The food and drink are terrible at every one. I gave up my membership last year as they are doing so bad financially they have over subscribed every club and let anyone join.

Is this properly open yet? Or still taking money for nothing?
I sadly got blocked from their facebook page for what I felt was a pretty innocuous comment.

Last I looked any posts of theirs were full of angry people asking for refunds.
