Fair play to everyone that took part and f*** off to every one that left early. However as i said last week this would not generate alot of publicity apart from the argus. I am afraid to say " told you so " only a 1 liner in a tiny write up in the news of the world. So when are we going to realise the only way to catch the media attention is to pitch invade as this always gets in the papers. Dont give all that crap we could be deducted points rubbish as every time there is a poll on here about going up no one wants it and every one for every arguement quotes falmer. So come on tuesday nite in luton lets get on the pitch and cause a stir guarenteed to make the papers on wednesday. Come on brighton lets continue to pull together and fight the cause. If anyone has a better way to get in wednesdays media please tell me but not another sit in im sorry it just wont work.

Pitch Invasion = Football holligan, desperate etc. Falmer nimby's and Baker would love it. Reserve any action like this until after Prescott has made his decision.

It is hard to get publicity for a sit-in. He's right about that. But to suggest a pitch invasion is sheer stupidity.

When the Goldstone was disappearing, that sort of action was the only path left open to get the message across. Even then some people said we were hooligans, but most realised the anger was understandable. This is an entirely different situation. There's no justification at all for pitch invasions, even if Prescott turns us down. It will just make us even more unwelcome whatever we try to do about a ground in future.

The good behaviour of the fans at Withdean has to be a huge factor in our favour at the moment - don't spoil it.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
There may be a bit more in the media today, broadcasters and newspapers are notorious for picking up stories later on Saturday night or Sunday and using them on a Monday so lets not totally give up on that till later today.

On the subject of pitch invasion this has to be the VERY last action, and only then if the answer is NO, anything that jepordises the hard work of everyone over the weekend would be foolish and ill timed, not to mention playing totally into the hands of NB, the NIMBYS and any other Anti Falmer group.

The flowers WILL get national media coverage.

Still not answering my question whats next? I given you my opinion tuesday night in luto get on the pitch with banners, baloons etc and get in the papers. Im telling you fans in colours carrying banners etc will not be seen as hooligans in anyones eyes just 100% fans trying to get attention.

Suggestions of Pitch Invasions etc are totally irresponsible and really shouldn't take up too much of our time.

Yes, they may well get media attention but not for the right reasons and not for the main core of our argument. This sort of action will lose a lot of sympathy with a lot of people including a the vast majority of BHA supporters.

Another sit in will probably not do a great deal. However, I'm pretty sure that is NOT planned. Tuesday's event is the flowers. If there's one thing guaranteed to scupper media coverage of the flowers, it's a pitch invasion. THINK STRAIGHT, MAN!!!

After Tuesday you are right that we need something else. Hopefully this will come from Des or FBS or even our own ideas.

Start a new thread now!

Why don't we all buy tickets to go to a Prem game (Man Utd?) and chant we wnat Falmer throughout that?

The Nationals don't give a toss about Nationwide football!

Also journalists don't give much of a toss about anything that happens outside of London.

We need to stage some sort of event there! Stop the traffic! That gets everyones attention (although it tends to get peoples backs up too!)

The press are now forcing us to up the stakes! We tried a peaceful sit in and they turned a blind eye! They are now FORCING us to do something that will catch their eye!

Why now pitch invade a Prem game that's on live TV?

One thing that always does seem to get national attention is anything happening on Brighton beach - piers burning, artistic events, FBS's beach party.

Has anyone thought about a candlelight vigil or something like that.

The easiest game would probably be Pompey v Chelsea on Weds night - live on Sky. Already sold out though.

2) Your saying go on the pitch @ luton and again your not goin..So whats your contribution..you going to run round your garden shouting..WE WANT FALMER!

you obviously don't have much idea of how a tabloid 'journalist's' mind works then.

bhafc4ever has a good point the Man Utd fans who went on the course at the racing got national coverage on all the main news programmes and all the papers.

I was not at the game on saturday and on the SCR it sounded good and i was proud of my fellow fans but I have watched every news and football related programme since then and nothing, I have bought 4 national papers on sunday and nothing

I spoke to a loyal BHA supporting mate who lives in London this morning he has no internet access and when i metioned the problem he did even know that there had been a negative decsion from the planning inspector let alone some kind of protest planned.

Sorry lads but the sit in at Wycombe did not even make the round up on the Meridian footy show let alone any national coverage. However it is early days and maybe if we keep it up there will be some notice taken.

The flowers are a strange idea and maybe they might get some coverage in the Argus but unless there are thousands of them all over whitehall it aint going to do nothing nationally.

If it comes to being noticed nationally then a pitch invasion game held up is the best way. I realise it may get slightly negative coverage but if coverage is what you want then as long as it is non violent then it would be ok.

I heard it get two good mentions on 606, and there was a caller on TalkSport too (I was flicking between the two). Adrian Durham (?) was very supportive, saying Prescott must give us a ground because we're far too big for Withdean.

Bhaforever is right, the sit in at wycombe didnt do us any good , I was there and was misty eyed, but the person who it was directed at ( john p )was totally unaware as to what was happening, unless he was listening to scr.

Somebody previously said if its not in London then its not going to be noticed. I think that the next time JP is in the house of commons ,as many supporters as possible should make the trip to London, and stand opposite parliament ,in parliament fields for an all day singsong. I think a couple of thousand of us would definately be noticed and HEARD in the houses of parliament.TAKE THE DAY OFF WORK -TAKE THE KIDS OUT OF SCHOOL-DRESS UP. We havnt got long left
