It all started in February and it still hasn't gone away, bloody nightmare.
My daughter had it about a month ago, it went within a week. She did go to the doctors about it but not sure if she was given anything for it.
I had it in December when I worked some insane hours and barely slept. Knocked me for six. It's a horrible bugger, I'll give you that.
About a year ago I woke up with painful blotches on my side and my wife said that is shingles. At 8 oclock I rang the doctors and they said can you get here by 9.30.
I duly went and was given medication from the chemist and the shingles soon disappeared.

The sooner you get anti virals, Zovirax, the easier it is to treat. If you get post shingles pain, then a nerve pain drug like Gabapentin is needed (it's a controlled drug)
I had it in February, for the second time, despite having had the vaccine 18 months ago. Unfortunately, the doctor told me that it gets worse as you get older.
You still suffering mate been ages
Just getting over a bout of this after around 5/6 weeks
You have my sympathies
Apparently the doctor needs to catch it within 72 hours or there's nothing much they can do,bar manage the symptoms
Cold showers helped me
Mine was/is in my left eye mate, wish I'd got it elsewhere.
I can't imagine anywhere worse to get it, than in your eyes. I hope it will get better very soon.
