For those of you who are fans, the final episode of the final season of The Shield was aired last week, and it was amazing. Unlike the end of The Sopranos, this was very, very final.

If you have not watched it before, get all seven seasons, strap yourself in front of the TV for a week, and enjoy the best cop show ever (except The Wire of course).

we love it. mrs starry is still devastated over what happened to lem though, everytime i mention the final series she whines on about him. we've waited for the dvd boxset so we can watch all the episodes in one go, one weekend.

i am a bit of a geek about having the actual dvd in my hand though, el pres.

channel five say the series will start early next year but have nothing confirmed yet. the dvd boxset in america is usually on sale before the series starts here.
