Just got 2 for me and my son. Originally in N1E right behind the goal.

Was a mistake as I though I was on the right of N1F and in my haste purchased the wrong seats.

Managed to change but the only pair left in the North was the family corner, N2B.

One thing I'm a little worried about is shouting and the odd swear word. Am I being silly or is it frowned upon

How old is your boy? My son hasn't heard anything at the Amex he hadn't heard already previously.

Wherever you sit/stand, the only one 'given' is that you join in with the 'whooooaaaaaaa.....you're s##t .......aaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhh' at an opposing goal kick.

Just received a very glossy (expensively-produced but not so expensive they managed to mis-spell a primary sponsor's name :)) 1901 brochure in the post....seems the club are pushing this very hard................

In the family stand that's explained as "your sheep baaaaaaah" :lolol:

My neighbour who is 78/9 doesnt have a mobile phone or a computer. I assume the club will be contacting him and many like him with with alternative arrangements

Advice in the FAQs is "For Season Tickets, if you do not have a smart phone please contact Supporter Services on or after 1st June to discuss possible alternative options."
https://tickets.brightonandhovealbi...e=custom/documents/html/mobiletickethelp.html

"If mobile tickets are not an option for you, there will be an option to print tickets at home. Print-at-home tickets will be emailed as PDF attachments, which can then be printed and scanned to gain access via the turnstiles. Please note this option may be restricted by area of the stadium."

PS: If you go together then you can load his ticket to your phone...

With no mobile or computer how would they know there is going to be a change to ticket arrangements.

Club may well find 2 weeks before first game many older supporters without phone or computer have not contacted club to make other arrangements

I meant shouting and swaering originating from me

My concern was being frowned at for my actions rather than protecting my son from the odd swear. Haha

With no mobile or computer how would they know there is going to be a change to ticket arrangements.

- Because their son/family/friends will tell them
- Because a high percentage of non smartphone users have access to the internet via laptop/iPads and will have seen emails
- Because the club will ring you up targeting older users first.

This club called nearly 1000 of its older ticket holders last summer asking if they were "all right" during the first covid phase. Including my 84 year old Dad. Thats the sort of club Albion is.
Yet the cynicism on here about their ability to manage changing tickets from a smartcard to a smartphone and manage exceptions , have a plan B and look after older ticket holders is a bit unwarranted.

Take some soapy water. I was once punished with that.

Anyone know what the numbers are on total season tickets sold and how many get held back for match by match sales? Based on our new capacity.

Didn't we all get sent information in the post telling us about renewals? Maybe they need to report their postie if they aren't receiving items sent to them.
