Pleased for the guy, BUT, a little part of me is disappointed he's not on his way back here on loan. Start of the season he was so far out of the picture at upton park he was being touted around for a loan deal.

I guess they expected more from Bellion and Alialialaialidiare.

Well played Bob, sad to see you not coming back, but you deserve the success you're having.

Legend.

Why does McGhee say that he is after a striker but lets quality like Zamora slip through his fingers? MCGHEE OUT!

What do you mean "let's quality like Zamora slip through his fingers" ?

Unfortunately when he was being touted in the summer it was on the proviso that West Ham signed one further striker, and they were close to securing Benni McCarthy. If McCarthy was signed Bobby was to be shipped out on a season long loan. They were confident enough of getting McCathry that Bobby was in talks with at least two Championship clubs - one of which was us, and we were his preference.

When the deadline arrived, McCathry had not been signed, so Bobby was not allowed out on loan, and I think West Ham are now very pleased it happened that way.

McGhee (and Knight) were in there, negotiating a deal, but it never came off because the McCarthy signing never came off.

More likely they were negotiating the possibility of him coming back for Kerry Mayo's testemonial.

Well chuffed for Bobby and for the Hammers too. He's had a rough start but i'm so glad he's come through it....for Bobby as well as for West Ham.

For some strange reason, i still feel that it will be BZ who gets dropped if an expensive striker comes to us. He never really got a good run in the team at the start of his west ham career so his confidence dropped.

He's playing so well now and i'm very pleased for him

Here's the link from our official shite if anyone's interested

didn't realise he had as much as 26 goals in 79 appearences. Considering maybe 30 of those as sub that is a damn good return
