Mine too. I thought it was going to be like that every game! Then got to watch it again later on MOTD. Goals were available on you tube until recently but seems to have been removed.

It was indeed.

I can't remember the exact details as I was 14 and caught up in the noise and excitement of being on the terraces.

I haven't read the full thread - has anyone posted that their first game was a total drubbing meted out to us - say 3-0 or worse? You have to have been resilient to come again after a thrashing in the first game you attended, particularly if you were a kid; the more so if you weren't being dragged along by a Dad or other adult.

You have to have been resilient to come again after a thrashing in the first game you attended, particularly if you were a kid; the more so if you weren't being dragged along by a Dad or other adult.

My first was a 1-0 win but was followed by 3-0 and 4-2 defeats. Still continued going despite those and we made the play offs that season in the end!
