Dear SCC supporters

Please post your inevitable shit and drivel about winning tonight, going second and how much of a bigger club you are than us and how you're going to overtake us very soon in this single thread to save clogging up our lovely board.

Many thanks in anticipation

Mind you, winning 6-0 at Oldham is a massive result and indication of their capability. Hope them breathing down our neck will result in a positive response

As I said on the other thread, sadly I think they will overtake us shortly and that will be that. However I am confident that we will finish second comfortably.

To be fair to them, if they'd have been 6 up against us at half time at St Mary's, it probably wouldn't have been far wrong.

Yep - I was amazed we managed to hold out in the first half; would have been fantastic to have stolen it with the pen though! It's going to take a step change in our finishing of chances created to stay ahead of them - or perhaps Austin will come!!!

The way we are scoring goals at the moment will get us the title, with or without any more players coming in. Wood will free up Murray to score 15 goals in the 2nd of the season.

We are still 3 points ahead of them, with a game in hand, and still to play them at home...some positive thinking please..

Let's hope you're right - the next six games for both clubs will be very interesting and set the scene for the championship. And I wonder how Tonight's result compares with our victories at Charlton and Peterborough - time will tell I guess.

They SHOULD be 5 / 6 / 10 points clear by most people reckoninng. And aren't. They're really worried and it comes out in their fans posts on here.

They were red hot favs to win the lg - just shows how well we've done so far

Absolutlely.

I think most people would agree that they have the better players, but we have the better team.

Apparently Southampton FC have asked Cardiff for permission to use their 'Lap of honour' plans and are rumoured to be asking the FA if they can parade the L1 trophy at their next home match. Sources within the FA have reacted positively to Southamptons enquiry whether they can not bother playing any more games as they are far too good and far too big for L1.

Hampshire wankers.

They just showed tonight's goals on SSN, and Paul Merson said they'll pass us no problem. SCC have the firepower to easily beat us to the top he reckons.

Let's hope Gus has more up his sleeve and we can continue to play our game.
