It is sad for me to see it like that as Withdean was the only "home" of Brighton that I ever got to watch games at.

I came to hate it after 8 seasons as sth I could take no more. That ain't no home in my book, the antithesis in fact.

That first picture shows some progress towards re-establishing the car park that I was responsible for getting built there when I managed the shoppers' park & ride service that was set up at Withdean in the 1990s.

It was one of the GREAT CAR PARKS OF THE WORLD - wrecked by a bloody football club moving in.

It served us well, when we were in dire straits. 4 Championships and 2 Relegations can't be bad right?! I'm going to the miss the old place!!!
